Views of the wooded valley of the Maresme with the sea in the background, a topography of gentle slopes and an imposing pine forest with centuries-old trees. We wanted the project to adapt to the location and take advantage of all these conditions.

The special microclimate of Maresme and its magical atmosphere is largely determined by the presence of numerous pine forests that anchor the sandy soil with their roots, protect it with their crowns from strong winds and the heat in summer and provide shelter for numerous species.

Thus, the house is divided into volumes that are oriented towards the best views, moved to preserve all the trees on the plot, and also to interact with them. The pine trees on the site become one of the focal points of each room. The interior layout has been optimized to eliminate unnecessary paths, so that each family member has their own personal space, but also to encourage interaction.

Thus, the double-height spaces form large social spaces and are combined with more intimate spaces for rest and reflection.
